The club was formed as Marconi-Fairfield in 1956
primarily by Italian migrants.
The club were founder members of the National Soccer
League in 1977 and were one of only two teams to compete in every season.
The now compete in the NSW Premier League.

The club was formed as Marconi-Fairfield in 1956
primarily by Italian migrants.
The club were founder members of the National Soccer
League in 1977. During their time in the National Soccer League, Marconi
Stallions won the premiership a record four times, equal with South Melbourne
and Sydney City who also won four premierships. Marconi were crowned premiers in
1979, 1988, 1989 and the 1992/93 seasons. Along with South Melbourne, Marconi
was one of only two clubs to compete in every season of the NSL.
The now compete in the NSW Premier League.
